The Aegean Exporters’ Associations, Quality Association (KalDer) Izmir and İnci Academy, part of the Cevdet İnci Education Foundation, agree to cooperate on education. Three great Izmir institutions form the Education Cooperation Platform.

The Education Cooperation Platform protocol was signed at a ceremony held in the İnci Holding Head Office. According to the protocol, the objective is to develop education ecosystems in the Aegean region, collaboration on arranging training, development and sharing programmes required by local companies and institutions, and training, assessing and maintaining a body of trainers.

 ‘Collaboration in education is vital.’

Expressing her delight in this new initiative, Şerife İnci Eren emphasised the significance of cooperation in the field of education like everything else in life.

She said, ‘Unless we support the educational needs of the society in which we live, we can never progress. The Cevdet İnci Education Foundation has a variety of activities focused on education such as Mobile Library, Parent Seminars and Trainings, Apprenticeship Training Centre, scholarship support of all ages and children’s orchestra. One of our priorities is the capacity to respond to the education needs of Aegean companies through the İnci Academy, which is another educational activity of the Foundation. Our first offering in this context will be Training the Trainers. Our aim is to enrich the local education ecosystem by involving experts in their field. Our subsequent contribution will be training programmes shaped according to need.’

Participating at the ceremony held in the İnci Holding Head Office were Chairman of the Executive Board of Aegean Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Union Yalçın Ertan, President of the Executive Board of KalDer’s Izmir Branch Senem Kılıç, Şerife İnci Eren, President of the Executive Board of the Cevdet İnci Education Foundation, Director of HS and Training of Aegean Exporters’ Association Deniz Çubuklusu, and members and executives of AEA, Kalder and the Cevdet İnci Education Foundation.
