ISM Minibar, a subsidiary of the venerable Turkish institution İnci Holding, enriches the hospitality sector with another ingenious undertaking by opening the ISMART Design Centre to bring together entrepreneurs who want to develop, invest in, and make into reality new products and projects. Speaking at the opening of the centre, President of İnci Holding Neşe Gök said, ‘We at İnci Holding have been contributing to Turkey’s economy and development for 67 years, and continue to add value as we plan for future growth and investment in all our subsidiaries. ISM Minibar, our leading subsidiary in the hospitality sector, pioneers a major step for the growth of both our company and the sector with its latest investment, the ISMART Design Centre. ISMART is an investment beyond time for us as well as a concrete indication that we are already taking steps towards future business areas. Today, we export 70% of ISM Minibar products, and we fully intend to carry this momentum in technology and quality to even higher levels.’

Highlighting the distinction between the ISMART Design Centre and others providing standard engineering services, General Manager of ISM Minibar Niyazi Şencan said, ‘We have highly ambitious visions for ISMART. This will be a roof hosting many entrepreneurs who want to invest and develop their projects. We will cooperate with entrepreneurs who want to develop groundbreaking hospitality sector projects, especially in hotel rooms, and contribute to the development of projects within the framework of different business models, thereby supporting young and strong minds as our ISM brand gains strength by the day’.

Ideas contest in the pipeline

Announcing plans for an idea competition in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions in August, September and October to promote the ISMART Design Centre platforms for speedy realisation of their projects to innovative entrepreneurs, Şencan said, ‘We aim to include many private institutions within the hospitality sector in the organisation of this contest which is intended to create a great synergy by bringing together enterprising ideas, main industry and universities and techno-cities. As ISM Minibar, we are proud to present our new investment ISMART Design Centre to the service of our sector. ISMART will add value to both our company and our country.’
