The partnership initiated by Inci Aku, the joint venture of Inci Holding and Japanese GS Yuasa has completed its fifth year. Cihan Elbirlik, the Executive Board Director of Inci GS Yuasa said that: “We took off in 2015 with great objectives and we are leading our sector in the quality at the point we are standing right now. Our country is endeavoring with the aim of doing better for our business partners and customers, we are trying hard through our vision to become the most reliable energy storage company. We are very excited for the new success stories that we will write with the energy provided by our Turkish and Japanese partners.”

 

Leading the accumulator sector in quality, Inci GS Yuasa continues to determine the future of energy storage sector. Inci GS Yuasa born by the partnership made between Inci Aku, the joint venture of Inci Holding and GS Yuasa, the Japanese accumulator giant in 2015 organized a special celebration for its 5th year. The event which was held online due to the pandemic was opened with a video specially prepared for the fifth year, and then Neşe Gök, President of Inci Holding Board of Directors, and Osamu Murao, President of GS Yuasa, addressed the guests with a video message. At the event, Candan Karabağlı, the Chairperson of Inci GS Yuasa Board of Directors, Cihan Elbirlik, Chairperson of Inci GS Yuasa Executive Board and Hirofumi Umetani, the Deputy Director of Inci GS Yuasa Executive Board took part as speakers.

 

"We invested 300 million liras"

 

Stating that they have broken new grounds in the sector with the synergy created by the partnership, Cihan Elbirlik, the Director of Inci GS Yuasa Executive Board said that they have grown since 2015. Expressing that Inci GS Yuasa has created difference in the sector through its innovative perspective and advanced technological products made in the R&D center, Elbirlik said that: ““We took off in 2015 with great objectives and we are leading our sector in the quality at the point we are standing right now. Our country is endeavoring with the aim of doing better for our business partners and customers, we are trying hard through our vision to become the most reliable energy storage company. At the beginning of our partnership, we determined the investment amount for the first five years as 250 million TL. On the other hand, the amount of investments contributing value to our company in our 5th year reached to 300 million TL and got beyond the objective. Since our third factory started to operate, we have increased our automotive accumulator production capacity by 40 percent in five years. We are happy to double our capacity on the industrial accumulator field".

 

“We are developing leading products in the sector”.

 

Stating that they made a difference in the sector in 2019 with İnci Akü Maxim A Gorilla and the renewed product series developed at the R&D center of İnci GS Yuasa, Elbirlik expressed that: “We put the development of accumulators used in automotive and industrial fields through the highest quality standard at the center of our business. We made 60 percent of our total investment in the field of technology in five years. We are trying to be the reference point of quality in our industry by improving our technology. We raised the bar a little higher in this year with our new product, Inci Aku EFB Max Tigris. "We are developing pioneering products for new generation vehicles in the sector in order to provide the most accurate solutions to the expectations of automotive manufacturers and vehicle users in the future."

 

Elbirlik expressed that: “We are very happy to have completed the first five years of our partnership successfully. This is not an anniversary but a turning point. We have great objectives for the second five year. We are very excited for the new success stories that we will write with the energy provided by our Turkish and Japanese partners. We have a strong belief that we will create a difference not only with our production capacity but also our leading position in the service, brand power and leadership in quality in the following period.”

 

In the second part of the event, a video collage consisting of the fifth anniversary messages of İnci GS Yuasa employees was displayed. After the seniority awards were granted, a group photo was taken and the event ended.
